This blog is filled with the frivolous, often strange and sometimes demented ideas from my caffeine induced overactive imagination.
YOU have been warned.
Wow. Wow. On those pictures. Thanks for sharing!
It's sad to see some of them fall into ruins like that after only 20 years. The library had books in it. BOOKS!
That was the saddest photo. :(
My girl was standing over my shoulder, saw the books and said, "How could that happen?" Next question was, "Can we go on a road trip to collect them?"
Sadly, Detroit is not the only city in MI falling into ruin like that. I bet they could have gotten similar pictures from Flint, too.
Oh wow, those pictures are really something else. Sad to see places like that in ruin but there is something interesting about seeing them. Reminds me of the life after people show I saw awhile back that forecast out what would happen to cities and buildings without people.
Hugs on the misposting. I've done that before. But those pictures are incredible and yes, very reminiscent of the life without people broadcast. However, I couldn't help but think of the borrowers or mice reading up on humanity with those libraries. It seems like someone should be looking at them.
It does, doesn't it? They're so nicely placed, like they're waiting on someone.Girl still insists we should rescue them.
Smart girl :).
